Dream
Breeze
by David Kuo My heart beats like never before.
My body lock as if frozen.
My eyes still, but dying to roar.
I see that you're the one chosen.
Everything moves in slow-motion.
Your soft hair dances in the breeze.
Your smooth gait moves like the ocean.
And your bright eyes, make weak my knees.
My throat fails me as you flow by.
No! No! This can't be happening!
But you laugh and let out a sigh.
Like music in my ears, it rings.
As gracefully as you strolled by,
I knew I wanted you my wife.
But now, alone and mad, I cry.
Like that, you were gone from my life. |
