Only Time Can Tell

I hear the wind blow through the trees,
I see a rain drop fall,
I hear the echo of a sound,
I never heard at all.

Only time can tell such things,
Like where we'll go,
and who we'll be,
but only we can truly see,
what will happen to you or me.
We have eyes,
but a clock doesn't.
So a clock only tells,
and we only see,
so without a clock,
where the hell would we be?
