Daylight To Twilight
by Geren Lowery

When the light hits the night,
it turns into dawn.
Seeing such a sight,
gives me hope to go on.

The rays of the sun reflect off the morning dew.
This makes me think of you,
and all the things you do,
and what you've done for me.
Every time I go blind,
your beauty helps me see,
but seeing you now is just like seeing you then,
once your life is torn apart,
it can't be perfect again.

So wherever you are,
and wherever you've been,
I just hope and pray
that I will see your face again.

And when the light
gives the night
to the twilight that it trusts,
I'll say goodbye to day,
and say hello to dusk.
